About Kiden
My Story
In Canada, I worked in healthcare as a nurse. What I enjoy the most is writing, speaking and story-telling. I started writing in the shelter because of rooming and fighting, there were four people in one room. For those who have been betrayed and silenced, I want to let you know that there’s a way to get out and start from a place of experience. And I encourage you to be honest with yourselves and seek help. As someone who has been there, I can’t wait to listen and hear your experience.
Personal Life
I contributed several stories to the Shoe-project, Women of courage. I’ve written two books, Resilience and “The Heart of the Lioness” this book is about traveling from living a war-torn country, life in Canada and lessons learned. I realized the impact of financial neglect and abuse. I remember the day; I got evicted in the middle of winter with my three kids. Imagine you’re standing outside in the cold, not knowing where to go. This experience to prioritize peace, self-reliance and sustainability.
